Sleuth Rooms - How they Live
I have always loved the idea of living on a farm on the outskirts of towm not unlike Trixie Belden who lived on Crabapple Farm whilst her best friend Honey Wheeler lived nearby in a large Mansion.
Growing up George Kirrin of The Famous Five Series was my favourite heroine and George was lucky enough to own her very own island where The Famous Five had exciting adventures in their school holidays.
This section is designed to have a glimpse at the lives of some great sleuths, including Jessica Fletcher who started as a TV sleuth on "Murder She Wrote" living in a beautiful in Victorian Style Home at 698 Candlewood Lane in the fictional town of Cabot Cove, Maine. Later in the TV Series Jessica Fletcher accepts a teaching post in Criminology at Mnahatten University. Jessica takes an Apartment in New York weekdays and maintains her residence in Cabot Cove on the weekends.
Hercule Poirot was another great slueth with outstanding tastes. Hercule Poirot's gorgeous Modern Art Deco Apartment was portrayed beautifully in a number of David Suchet films including Third Girl with Jemima Rooper (who incidently when she was younger played George Kirrin in a version of The Famous Five Tv Series.)
